It’s been a busy summer and I’m a little late, but I am excited to share this Lake Nokomis Minneapolis family session with all of you!
Earlier this summer, we were in a drought in Minneapolis. Our desperate squirrels destroyed our vegetable garden. Finally, we got some rain!!!! So much of it but right when we were supposed to have this session! It was supposed to rain again the next day too. Problem was, the star of this family shoot was quickly growing out of her cute little outfit so we crossed our fingers and hoped for the best! Turns out, luck was on our side. We had light, even cloud coverage across the entire sky with lovely diffused light all over. A photographer’s dream!
So glad we took the risk to do the session that day because I am loving this light! This beautiful family and beautiful location made this session a dream!
And whenever the kiddos allow us to, I love sneaking some pictures of just the parents too! It’s so nice sometimes to be a couple, and not just mom and dad!
