I don’t really have the words to describe how much I love this Mill Ruins Park family session. The perfect weather, this sweet family, this incredibly fun little one, this location, just all of it! This gallery really speaks for itself. Let me start you off with this adorable face.
Mill Ruins Park is such an incredible location to visit but especially for photos. It is beautiful and interesting and also provides lots of shade! Only at this location can we get photos like these. Just look at the bricks, greenery, and THAT ICONIC SIGN! Magic.
I always say that gorgeous photos take teamwork and part of the experience of working with a photographer includes choosing outfits. Alicia and I worked together before the session to choose outfits that looked amazing and feel comfortable to them too! When I’m helping my clients choose outfits, I am thinking about the season, location, cohesiveness, occasion, and practicality/comfort for poses, but most importantly, it must be something that you would FEEL great in! I really love what Alicia and I came up with! Don’t you?
I loved spending time with this whole family, but this little one was just the best. She is SO smart and chatty. This 1.5 year old pointed out that my dress was TEAL. I mean technically it was turquoise, but WHAT?! She was also super wiggly, wanting to run everywhere and touch everything. She never wanted to be still for more than 10 seconds, but I love that! Thanks for playing with me, little one!
Thank you for choosing me to photograph you and your family, Alicia. It was truly a joy!

Thank YOU, Claudia! You made us feel so comfortable and relaxed! I continue to be amazed how you got so many wonderful photos of our little one despite her never staying still. 🙂
