You are going to love this spring garden family session! Many of you might have heard that the best light for photos is ‘golden hour’, just before the sun sets. That’s at 7:30 or 8pm in the summer, and usually not a good time for many families with toddlers. It’s way past many kiddos’ bedtimes! But that doesn’t mean you can’t get great photos! This family session was taken at 8am. If your toddler is anything like mine, that is when she is the happiest. Just finished breakfast and ready to play!
Rebecca and her family were a joy to photograph. First of all, their outfits were amazing! Lots of neutrals with a couple muted pops of colors. Just look at them!
We met at the beautiful Arneson Acres Park in Edina on a lovely morning. The fountain was flowing and the flowers were blooming. It’s also usually quite quiet at that park, perfect for a photoshoot. I love the colors in this gallery. Their outfits and the location feel so fresh and spring-like!
The little one was happy to explore, touch the flowers and the water, and play with mom and dad. We captured all these sweet moments and all the ones in between too!
Thank you for allowing me to photograph your beautiful family at this lovely garden!
