I am just going to start with one photo before I talk more about this Arneson Acres maternity session. This photo deserves its own spotlight. You’ll see what I mean.
Wow, am I right? I met this lovely couple at Arneson Acres Park in Edina, near Minneapolis. I was extra excited to meet Adrita because she is an extra petite mama just like me! This dress was an amazon find and is definitely going to be added to my list for dress recommendations from now on. It drapes and flows beautifully, and has a nice heavy weight to it. It seems to fit almost every body type with or without a baby bump. Most importantly for us, it photographs so well! The flower crown was Adrita’s idea and such a nice touch too. Accessories really do make such a big difference.
Adrita and Sylas were so fun to work with. They were willing to try out all my ideas, even if it felt silly at the time. Trust me! It might feel weird, but it’ll look great! I always say that amazing photos take teamwork, and judging from these photos, I’d say we made a fabulous team. Mom, dad, and the little one will all treasure these photos forever.
Arneson Acres was beautiful as always with its perfectly manicured greenery and flowers. And the glow of the sunset was perfect that evening – thanks mother nature! Here are some of my favorites photos.
