I’m so thrilled to share this Bassett Creek Park senior session with all of you and I think you’ll understand when you see the pictures! I met Evelyn at the lovely Bassett Creek Park in Crystal on a beautiful cool evening. It is a quiet, lush park with something for everyone. As a mama, I love the wooded trails, open fields, and the creek. But as a photographer, I also love all the details that you might not notice. The tall grass, the willow trees, a wooden bridge, moss covered logs, and the little dock all make beautiful backdrops in photographs!
Evelyn was a photographer’s dream to work with. I loved her distinct style. She wore a t-shirt and ripped jeans but then made it her own with a vintage shirt and glasses. This is why I love working with seniors! This is not an outfit that I could have come up with myself. But with my recommendations and her personality, we came up with something uniquely her that looked amazing on camera.
Evelyn was a lot of fun to chat with and photograph. We both love vintage and thrift shopping and I am so excited to check out a store she told me about! (Thank you!!) Then as we continued our senior session through Bassett Creek Park, I watched in awe (and excitement) as she moved gracefully and naturally through her poses.
