I am so excited to share this maternity session with you! Hansen Tree Farm is beautiful, a sea of green with a blanket of crisp white snow. Now add a gorgeous family with the most adorable toddler. And this is what you get.
Magic. Am I right?
But here’s what you don’t see.
It was 30 degrees that day (felt like 20 something – that’s below 0 for my non-American friends)! Here I am bundled up in my Canada Goose jacket and big snow boots. And they look like THAT. How do they look so amazing????
Little C had a great time, frolicking around in her beautiful lace dress in the snow. When she started to get cold she said, “Oh no, I don’t want to turn into a popsicle!”. The little one and I danced, wiggled, jumped, and ran all around the farm to stay warm, and of course, we took lots of breaks to get warm too. Thanks for playing with me, C!
Anna, Lee, and their daughter’s fun and joyful personalities shone though. They laughed through the whole session and we ended up with so many fun photos! Here are some more of my favorites! I love imagining C and baby #2 all grown up, looking back at these photos, and thinking about how pretty their momma was (and is)! This is why you need maternity photos! They are fun to look at now and next year, but to the next generation, these will truly be treasured.
